BIOTREAT is a highly effective liquid formulation that contains organic chelate copper and enzymes as its active ingredients. The organic chelate helps to keep the copper in a suspended chelated form, preventing it from settling and promoting electrochemical reactions. The unique combination of these active ingredients creates a tourbillion effect in water, moving at a rate of eight (8) meters per hour. This tourbillion helps to kill bacteria and other pathogens that come in contact with the suspended active ingredients.

BIOTREAT is recommended for use as a strong disinfectant, bactericide, and algaecide. It is capable of controlling 98% of total fecal coliform, pathogens, and some insects living in water. BIOTREAT has been used to treat and purify water and wastewater, inhibiting anaerobic bacteria in organic municipal liquid and solid wastes derived from humans, animals, and plants.

The recommended use of BIOTREAT is to add it directly to the water or wastewater treatment system, depending on the size of the system and the level of contamination. It is effective in controlling organic matter and reducing the concentration of bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms in the water or wastewater.
